Red Snapper

One for the books today! Billy and their crew rolled out with us this summer for some late morning action on the Gulf Shores waters. Partly cloudy skies made for perfect conditions as we headed out to work the wrecks. The crew was ready to get down with these Red Snapper and we were locked and loaded to make it happen!

Once the stage was set, we got busy with bottom fishing and drift fishing around the structure. The vertical jigging really came off the turn buckle when we found the right spots! Gulf Shores wrecks are absolutely on lock for Red Snapper action - these fish stack up on the structure and when you drop down with the right technique, they're ready to eat. Billy's crew stayed on the fish and we got some good Red Snapper coming over the rail. The bite was solid and we wrapped up with smiles all around - that's how we roll!
