Meet Captain Patrick Gallagher
Meet Captain Patrick Gallagher – Your Expert Guide in Gulf Shores and Fort Morgan
Captain Patrick Gallagher brings decades of fishing experience to the waters of Gulf Shores and Fort Morgan. Raised on the Gulf of Mexico, he developed a deep respect for its ecosystem and the diverse species that call it home. From an early age, fishing became more than a pastime—it became a way of life. Over the years, Patrick’s commitment to understanding the tides, patterns, and habitats has earned him a reputation as a knowledgeable and dependable guide. His approach centers around sharing his expertise with others in a way that’s approachable and rewarding.
By 2010, Captain Patrick turned his lifelong passion into a full-time career, guiding visitors and locals alike through some of the Gulf’s most productive waters. He’s built a strong track record through years of competitive success, including top finishes in the Dauphin Island Rodeo and Gulf Coast Slam for Flounder and Speckled Trout. These results reflect not only his skill but also his dedication to staying sharp, informed, and tuned in to changing conditions along the Alabama coast.
Captain Patrick’s specialty lies in nearshore and inshore fishing, where he helps anglers target species like Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, and Sheepshead. With a firm grasp of light tackle techniques, bottom fishing, spinning, trolling, and more, he adapts each trip based on conditions and guest preferences. Whether guiding a seasoned angler or introducing someone to fishing for the first time, Patrick’s calm and instructional style ensures everyone feels confident and capable on the water.
